Swap your everyday routine for a unique tourist attraction in the wheat belt of York, Western Australia. Whitegum Farm is a 300-acre farmstead comprising caravan park and campground, with its own lake, airport and 4WD tracks. Gary and his team will welcome you to this bush camp with a difference!
No alarm clocks here, unless you’ve got a date with a fishing rod or a flying lesson.
The onsite lake, Lake Kimberley is stocked with silver perch and West Australian Marron. You can swim, fish or take the kids paddleboating. Relax at the end of the day in the newly built Bar & Grill Restaurant. There’s even a big screen so you don’t have to miss your favourite AFL game and the restaurant is open all weekend for lunch and dinner.
Whitegum Farm has the largest privately owned flight facility in WA. You can fly in for a morning coffee, stay the weekend, or take some flying lessons. Explore the walking trails, great views and wildflowers in this unique outback adventure.
It is a registered Kangaroo Sanctuary and as such pets are seasonal, so you’ll need to check permission prior to arrival.
Due to its location, power is limited, so during busy and peak times, guests will need to be energy conscious, but there’s still plenty of wood and gas BBQs for a cook-up.
So bring your bus, motorhome, caravan or tent or stay in comfort in one of their onsite cabins. You’ll find Whitegum Farm on our #CampsAustraliaWideapp
