The Camps Australia Wide App is available for Apple (iOS) and Android smart phones and tablets.
You can also use the Camps app across multiple smart phones and tablets by signing into your App Store ID on those devices or enabling your device’s built in family sharing settings.
We do recommend including one of your downloads on a larger device like an iPad or tablet, so you can see more of each map!

Of course! They work hand in hand, and we at CAMPS always travel with both books and the App.
Some people prefer to use the guide books for planning, as they find it easier to see routes and compare sites by viewing a whole page in the book. Then they use the App when on the road as its useful for locating sites nearby and showing you exactly where you are as you drive.
The App easily compliments the guide books by providing more detail on each site including extra images, more details, and community reviews. The app also includes the most up date to information as changes to a site may have occurred since time of book printing.
We personally search the book for our proposed route and sites, then find out more about each site or if there are any changes from the App. Or we filter the sites we like on the App and then plan the trip using the book. Using the Hema co-ordinates you can easily find a site from the App in the books.
Some couples tell us he likes the App, she uses the book, or vice versa, so between them all is seamless.
Therefore app and books can definitely work hand in hand!
