Check out these Must See Destinations for 2022

Happy New Year 2022
Big4 Rainbow Beach, QLD has beautiful sunset views over Tin Can Bay Inlet. I recently featured Carlo Point when I dined at the new restaurant, Quay Carlo.

Forget about guilty resolutions that you’ve probably broken already, in 2022 let’s make some fun travel resolutions!

Yes, it pays to be flexible – I think most of us have had to be in the last couple of years – for us, NSW’s Darling River Run turned into the QLD Natural Science Loop! But it doesn’t hurt to build up your wishlist of camping locations. We have some pearlers for your bucketlist today!

Do you know which is Queensland’s youngest gorge? I’d put it on your road trip! Add a northern NSW camp that has beach and river with the nearest town accessed by boat! We visit beautiful Lake Argyle where you can swim with the crocs (freshies, that is). Onto a free pub camp on SA’s Limestone Coast and a lesser know NT’s Limmen National Park with budget sites and stellar hikes. Finally, we hike near the Great Alpine Road to a very interesting picnic area, Oriental Claims Historic Area.

Of course, we have the BEST tools to help you get there, and show you how to travel further for less! Our new CAMPS Pendium is particularly helpful, and the the CAMPS AUSTRALIA WIDE App comes free with all book purchases. So to all, we wish you an exciting new year of adventures and amazing camping experiences!
