Lake Argyle Caravan and Camping Park is located 70km east of Kununurra in the amazing Kimberley region.

They offer a range of villas, cabins, powered and unpowered sites to suit all travellers. You can enjoy a meal in the beer garden and there is also regular live entertainment on the grass area.

The infinity pool would have to be one of the most photographed pools in Australia (also one of the coldest).

Enjoy spectacular views of Lake Argyle and the surrounding ranges while enjoying a swim.

There is a general store which offers basic supplies and fuel.

There is also plenty to do in the area. Take a 5km return walk from the Park past the Durack Homestead to the Bluff Lookout for spectacular views over the lake, dam wall and caravan park.

You can also hire a BBQ boat for the day and enjoy cooking some breakfast and lunch while cruising around the lake looking for freshwater crocodiles.

It’s not everyday you get to say you have had a swim with crocodiles.

There are also plenty of tours of the Lake and the Ord River on offer which you can book through the park.
