Merry Christmas and a Happy Camping New Year!

I’m so excited – my daughter arrives home today from Canberra. That border has meant we haven’t laid eyes on her since Easter. Same with our 18 year old in Armidale, NSW. The rest of the crew arrive Christmas Eve, and I am looking forward to a full table!

In our last newsletter for the year, we give you a luxe new farmstay in Tassie, a WA oceanside overnighter, then two lakeside oases – one in Queensland and another not far from Sydney.  Finally – we have last minute gift ideas and some easy festive camping recipes.

It is the season for parties! Camps caught up with Rousabouts RV Club for a Christmas lunch on the Brisbane River. Thanks everyone, we showed off the new CAMPS Pendium, and it was great to hear your travel plans and the mystery tag a long sounds fun!

We sign off now – the CAMPS office is open again on January 10. We’ll still be posting alerts and news on our socials until then. So Happy New Year as well – we hope you’ll be camping!
