3 New Sites on the Eyre Peninsula, South Australia

There are many lovely sites on the Lower Eyre Peninsula in SA like Drummond Point, Fishery Bay and Greenly Beach and our three new additions will give you even more to explore.   Frenchmans North is a 4WD only site for tents and camper trailers on the Western Shore 65 km from Port Lincoln. Likewise with Frenchmans South that has 10 unpowered sites, both at $5 per night – no facilities but will provide you with some stunning views and rocky cliffs.

Further south at Kellidie Bay is Seal Corner also $5 per night. I’m not sure whether the name means you’ll find any seals here, but we’d definitely like some pics if you do!

None of these sites are suitable for caravans with narrow sandy road access. 

Other campsites along the western side of the Peninsula that were free now have a small charge – Greenly beach, Drummond Point and Fishery Bay all $5 per night. 

Council previously didn’t officially approve of camping here due to the pristine nature of the area so they are requesting that all campers be self contained and respect and preserve this area to enable its continued use.  You can book online to obtain your $5 permit.

If you would like a little more civilisation you can head to beautiful Farm Beach that has 33 sites including toilets and showers for $10 per night.

There’s an abundance of sites in this corner of South Australia and lots of do along the Eyre Peninsula’s stunning coastline.
