Congo Beach, NSW is a budget national park campground, and a favourite in our CAMPS community with the CAMPS tick of approval.
Located in the beautiful Eurobodalla National Park, you can explore lagoons, lakes, estuaries, sheltered and wild beaches. For water lovers – there is waterskiing and boating at Corunna Lake, fishing and swimming around Mullimburra Point, surfing at 1080 Beach and paddling on Brou Lake and around Lake Tuross.
The closest town is Moruya on the far south coast of New South Wales, just 10 km away.
The campground has toilets and non-potable water. There are picnic tables, shade, views, boat ramp and fishing and swimming. Mobile coverage is available.
What to do and see
Birdwatching, whale watching and native animals (we are told kangaroos may try to raid your rubbish!)
Head out for a day walk like the Bingi Dreaming track, a coastal walk that traces the ancient Song Lines of the Yuin Aboriginal people.

History at South Head, Moruya see a pilot’s cottage, plus breakwaters and training walls that guided shipping through the river mouth
In Moruya visit the lookout for views over Moruya River, take a kayaking trail and check out more history at Quarry Park
