Visit Ellenbrae Station, Western Australia

Ellenbrae Station covers 1 million acres in the Kimberley, Western Australia. Approximately 230km from Kununurra on one of Australia’s must-see destinations, the Gibb River Road. The station has become a popular stop over for tourists – with delicious Gibb River Road famous scones. Add it to your list for the dry season.

Predominantly a cattle station, you can stay in an unpowered site for $35 per night. We always love seeing a family rate – it is only $40 per night, and kids under 5 are free! Pets are welcome, too.

It caters for all types of camping from tents and camper trailers, off road motorhomes and caravans to big rigs. Drive through sites are available.

There are toilets and hot showers. Potable water is available at the homestead, not at the campground.

Expect fireplaces, wood BBQs, picnic table and generators  are allowed between 8am and 4pm. Although there is no WiFi, there is Optus mobile reception.

Open from April to October, there is swimming, fishing – and tyre repairs are also on offer!

Ellenbrae also invites day visitors to come up their short 5 km driveway to stretch your legs in our gardens and view our rustic Kimberley homestead whilst enjoying a cup of tea or coffee and a scone! Find them in the Camps Australia Wide App and CAMPS 11 book, available on pre-order.
