Free RV camp: Drakesbrook Weir, Western Australia

Update January 2024: Drakesbrook Weir is no longer open for overnight stays of any kind, including fully contained RVs. You can find more details of the current free RV stay areas in the Camps Australia Wide App.

Free RV camp at Drakesbrook Weir, WA – 24 hour limit. NOTE: may be used all year round.

Located 10 km E of Waroona to Lake Moyanup, the weir has just had a makeover and now has upgraded toilets facilities, swimming area, shady parking, beach sand, solar lighting, barbecues and shelters. It’s a great place to have a barbecue, picnic or just a relaxing swim. There is a maximum of five RVs at any one time.

There is a pontoon to keep the family entertained or enjoy swimming, canoeing, bushwalking and fishing. Powerboats and dogs are prohibited at the weir.
