A new name for Byfield Campstay, Queensland

Queensland’s Byfield Campstay has now changed hands and is being rebranded to Forest Fields Campstay.

Come to an oasis-like ‘Garden of Eden’ set amid the towering rainforested hills of family owned property, Middle Earth for visitors who favour a laid back camping experience. The grounds have been planted out with many varieties of edible fruits and vegetables, which campers are welcome to sample. The surrounding bush features a wide selection of native flora and fauna, including the rare Byfield fern (Bowenia serrulata) and the spectacular Wompoo pigeon.

Byfield Campstay is peaceful and private and is a perfect base from which to explore numerous local attractions, including the Byfield National Park, north of Yeppoon and state forest parks (Waterpark Creek, Upper Stoney and Red Rock). Other “must dos” include Nob Creek Pottery, Ferns Hideaway, Waterpark Farm Eco-Tours and awesome coffees and snacks at the Byfield Bush Cafe.
