This month, all going well, we collect our new hybrid van. We sold the old one – as our boys are too long for the bunks! Our Mountain Trail RV 4.7 van sleeps two – the kids have their swags, now – and only the youngest is at home these days. Looking forward to our outdoor kitchen, easy towing and parking (that’s still Heatley’s domain for now).
It’s been a momentous couple of weeks since our last newsletter: our eldest graduated in Brisbane, our 21 year old had her first March out at the Defence Force Academy (ADFA) in Canberra, another left home for Armidale’s UNE, the youngest is now 16 plus Although we couldn’t see the parade at ADFA, we flew to Canberra, watched the livestream then made the most of Kate’s overnight leave. We always stay with my sister and family – so there were plenty of games, cards, Asian cuisine, markets and city shops on our weekend. I trekked up a mountain with my sister and friends, and Heatley walked around the lake with my brother in law. We love our Canberra visits (and the cooler weather), I’ll have to put together a list of our favourite things to do there! We’ve also had lovely emails from many of you, like this:
