Shiralee Clydesdales & Farm Stay is a camp where you can swim in the dam, sit by the fire, feed the farm animals and you can bring your pets, too!
Lyn told us, “They have taken some effort to set out level and separate camp areas at the back of the property. It’s a work in progress – toilets, showers and ample rubbish bins are currently provided.”
Plus Lyn says it is just $20 per site per night and only about 8kms out of Rockhampton central (or 3 km south east of town).
A dump point will be installed next year, along with camp kitchen upgrades. It is suitable for all vehicles including Big Rigs. Gravel access means there are no wet weather issues. Not only pet friendly, it is also off leash.
