This camp site is located within the Aboriginal community of Lombadina on the Dampier Peninsula, 196 km north of Broome. They offer self contained cabins, single rooms, dorms and unpowered camping. There are only 8 campsites here, all with green grass, plus showers and toilets available.
While here, be sure to order yourself some freshly baked bread from the office (only baked on Monday, Wednesday and Friday). You are able to wander around the community where you can have a look at the craft shop, the bakery and also the heritage listed church that was built in 1934 from mangrove and paperbark.
Just 1km from the campground and over the sand dune is the beautiful beach with white sand. Let your tyres down and head out there to enjoy sunset drinks.
Day visitors are also welcome to come in and have a wander around the community. You will need to obtain a $10 permit from the office when you arrive.
