The CMCA have opened their second park in South Australia, this one at Port Pirie. It’s located within the grounds of the Port Football and Community Club on the corner of Wandearah and Esmond Roads. You’ll have access to their facilities during opening hours and the club are offering discounts to members. Lunches and dinners are available most days.
The park is a five minute stroll to shopping and businesses and provides a dump point, potable water, happy hour shelter, and park custodian. Well behaved fur babies on lead are permitted as are generators in reasonable hours.
There are around 40 sites available with a maximum 14 night stay. This historic seaside town is a great base to explore the Southern Flinders Ranges region and Spencer Gulf. Check out local shops, museums or fish at the jetty.
