
Terowie, South Australia, is a township rich with historical significance and interesting sites. The area has a large number of untouched 19th Century buildings that are both charming and intriguing for visitors. Main Street is lined with historical buildings that make you feel like you have gone back in time and signs around the old railway yards and throughout the town provide you with information about them. If you want you can even get keys from the Cafe to see some of the historical displays in the buildings. The camp site is mostly open with no shade but the grass is flat there is plenty of space. Although it’s a quiet town the locals are very friendly.
