Marrawah is located 51km West of Smithton. The coastlines rugged headlands receive the full force of the Roaring Forties from the Southern Ocean. The clearly signed camp area is located 2.4km west of the Marrawah township, on a beautiful drive down Green Point road.Metres away, you're at the beach! The park here has toilets, cold showers, a playground, sheltered BBQ and picnic tables right over the beach with AMAZING views.BYO drinking water.There are more picnic tables in the small camp area, clearly signed on the right before the beach.Choose from flat bitumen sites or some grassy spots with varying levels (some flat). Open fires are prohibited. There is a ramp to the beach - read up on the tragic Indigenous historyin the shelter,created by a localschool.You can see right Woolnorth Bluff Point Wind Farm, near Cape Grim. This is where NW Tasmania points into the ocean, south of Trefoil and Hunter Islands.It's your last stop on the Tarkine Drive (anticlockwise) for a pub!Further south is the village of Arthur River - known for cruises and MUST SEE - The Edge of the World. There is a takeaway cafe here, and more camps!
