Ngumban Cliff Lookout should be how WA site 682 in Camps 10 is written. RV traveller, Michael Lennon has advised us that unlike the Hema version, WA main roads spell it with a ‘b’. Please update your CAMPS 10 book.
Add this site to your list if you want to be in the ‘middle of nowhere’ admiring sunset on the ranges.
About an hour from Fitzroy Crossing you’ll find this camp area, looking over a huge gorge and the Mueller Ranges. Park on the hill, near the edge.
Facilities wise, it rates well, with toilets, a covered picnic area, BBQ, and dump point. Pets are allowed and big rigs should have no trouble if it is not too busy.
Ngumban Cliff Lookout is a bit exposed, you will marvel at the red, red soil. This is one interesting place.
This rest area is 96 km south east of Fitzroy Crossing or 192 km west of Halls Creek, in the Kimberley.
You will also find it on our CAMPS AUSTRALIA WIDE App – simply go to the map or list and search for the site name!
