Great news, the Winton Motor Raceway has opened for camping!

This motor racing track had its first race in 1961 and is one of Australia’s longest-standing permanent motorsport circuits.

On-site camping is now available 24/7 with easy access to motorsport and non-motorsport times.

All sites are unpowered but it’s only $15 per van, vehicle or tent. You’ll have the bonus of a pet friendly site with 24 hour security! So you’re free to enjoy Winton and surrounds.

Located at the rear of the back straight, the camping area features toilet and shower facilities (with bore water). It is well lit for safety. Winton Raceway welcomes caravans, motorhomes, big rigs, camper trailers and tents. Generators are permitted (with thoughtfulness to other campers), there’s mobile signal here as well as a covered area with bar stools and tables.

The raceway holds many motorsport events including the Super Series Victorian Motor Racing Championship, the Winton 300, Winton Festival of Speed and lots more.
