Since the dam was filled in 1964, the site has been leased to the Tableland District Scout Association.
Offering budget priced bush camping – there are no powered sites available. The 27 campsites are better suited to tents, camper trailers, small camper vans and small caravans. Large double axle caravans not towed by 4WD vehicles can have limited access.
Composting toilets, hot showers, disability access and drinking water are provided. No pets, however, fires and generators are allowed.
You may see bandicoots, curlews, sugar gliders and goannas in and around your campsite!
