I had goosebumps camping the last leg of our winter trip. In Outback Queensland, we hiked into the ACTUAL location of the billabong from “Waltzing Matilda”! True. (And there were brolgas to boot!)
Imagine my delight as we drove past signs for the Outer Barcoo – “where churches are few, and men of religion are scanty” ran through my head!
