Heatley and I caught up with Gordon, the creator of ‘Gas Bottle Refills’ and his partner, Barbara whilst they were on their latest Queensland trip.
Gas bottles are a new feature on the Camps Australia Wide App – the functionality can be turned off just like petrol stations, so it is there when you need it.
This is in addition to the new gas bottle symbol you’ll find at sites where you can buy or swap your gas bottle.
Seasoned travellers, Barbara shared some tips with me:
- Always place a woollen blanket under the mattress.
- Pack three sheet sets, including flannelette (for one couple).
- Always strip and make the bed on your last morning. That’s one job less when you arrive home.
