Here at Camps Australia Wide, we applaud all the tourism initiatives happening across Australia at the moment, like: #HolidayHereThisYear #BookThemOut and #buyfromthebush and we’ll add in our two: #GOWEST and #staywithafarmer
If you check out images of Kangaroo Island, you’ll see there is so much there untouched by fires to explore. I can certainly believe that international folk aren’t visiting the Margaret River in WA, for instance – when fires are thousands of kilometres away in other states. Unless you have travelled our country – it is hard to fathom how big it really is.
Here’s one of the pics of what we got up to on the Australia Day weekend – we checked out Uki, on the NSW north coast with family. We enjoyed a counter lunch on the pub verandah, a cool-off in a beautiful waterhole, as well as a very scenic drive.
We have also starting plans for our Outback Queensland trip – with plenty of farms to visit. Drop us a line if you have any must-sees and dos or favourite campsites you think we should visit.
Plus tell us about your aims to #gowest or go bush and #staywithafarmer! Read more about it below – plus we focus on farmers in this newsletter – with a station stay in WA, an attraction in NSW nearby one of the farmstays we list and photo from a station stay in QLD and NSW information centre. Happy travels!
