Stonehenge Farmstay in East Gippsland now has a brand new name – The Stockmans Camp, and it is undergoing some exciting transformations under the management of new owners and hosts, Darren and Cathy Williams.
The camp is a working farm located at Buchan South and nestled within a picturesque garden setting with green lawns and shady trees.
On offer are powered and unpowered sites as well as two fully self-contained cabins all providing panoramic views of surrounding farmland and mountains. The site is pet friendly with amenities, laundry, camp kitchen, and bbqs.
As well as accommodation they offer the opportunity to enjoy High Country and Brumby Tours by either 4WD or BYO Horseback Adventures.
A key highlight of The Stockmans Camp is the Bush Heritage Shows which give an insight into the life and skills of the iconic Mountain Cattlemen and the horsemen of the High Country and ‘Snowy River’ Regions. Darren is an accomplished horseman, bushman & stockman and you’ll marvel at the displays of horsemanship, working dogs, and whip cracking.
Listed as site Number 26 in our app, overnight stays for a couple start from $30 for an unpowered site. This is clean country air at its best with stunning mountain views, cosy campfires and old fashioned hospitality. We think you’ll find this one special, so make sure to add it to your bucket list.
