As you travel on the east coast of the Eyre Peninsula in South Australia, stop off at a favourite site, Lipson Cove. It is situated 13 km north east of Lipson, between Tumby Bay and Arno Bay, north of Port Lincoln. After 8 km of unsealed road, you will be rewarded with spectacular views and white sandy beach.
Expect wildlife – you might see kangaroos, seals, dolphins, even penguins!
Sites are large – there are ‘long drop’ toilets, and all for a budget price. There is a 14 day maximum stay – but they do offer a weekly price, as well. The cove can be exposed to winds.
