At 54 km N of Quobba Homestead, turnoff 44 km N of station, and drive 10 km rough dirt road to campsite.
It is suitable for off road caravans and has toilets, a dump point, fireplaces and views! It also has the CAMPS tick of approval. Quobba Station is located on the southern tip of the Ningaloo Reef Marine Park, north of Carnarvon, Western Australia. It is a working pastoral station with 80 km of coastline bordering the Indian Ocean.
A mecca for surfers, it is also popular for fishing, snorkelling, whale watching and wildlife. Regardless, you’ll have views of that beautiful beach. Bungalows include beds, fridge-freezers, amenities, power and rain water, and retreats include an ensuite, BBQ and kitchenette.
Dogs are allowed if if camping. However, conditions apply as it is a1080 baited area – they must remain on lead and within sight.
Two-wheel drive accessible, includes 70 km of unsealed road. Conditions vary. No bookings are taken for camping, it is a “first-in” basis. June to August has the best weather, but the shoulder season has less people.
