Withnell Point is located approximately 74km from the barge landing. It is a large beach side camping area in a bay on the east side of the island.
This 4WD only camp is in a national park – so no dogs – but it is good fishing!Â
The beautiful bay is quite shallow with beautiful turquoise water and white sand. This camping spot can accommodate three separate group bookings – two on the beach area and one on the point.
There is also a drop toilet and a cubicle for you to hang your own shower in. The cost for this campsite is $20 per person per night.
