Spring is here! So we have devoted this newsletter to the season and wildflowers – and of course, where to camp nearby!
Western Australia is famous for wildflowers and we showcase some of those gorgeous must see areas, from I Love Camping Australia Wide Facebook Group members.
However, Queensland is good for spotting too and we list pretty finds with three remote camping locations – a National Park wetland, an abandoned mine and a dinosaur stampeding, waltzing Matilda town.
Here’e one of my favourite Rainbow Beach local finds – I love it when the grass trees are blooming, and the native bees are in heaven, too!
Three wonderful flower festivals are on show and we showcase a flowery photo from Carol and Bill’s travels through Australia in their caravan and Commodore. I loved their best tip –
“… travel down the byroads/backroads through the smaller regional towns….where there are so many hidden treasures to be found which you will not find on the usual tourism brochures. Talk to the locals…they’ll share local treasures that will amaze you…and of which most are free.
Enjoy fellow travellers..Australia awaits.”
