There’s a brand new campground and caravan park at the Djarindjin Roadhouse in far north WA, just south of Cape Leveque.  With the recent closing of Kooljaman at Cape Leveque it is timely that a new site has opened up not far away. Djarindjin has modern amenities and large powered sites and is accessible off the sealed Cape Leveque Road.

It makes the perfect stopover if you are heading for the Kimberley or exploring the Dampier Peninsula.    There are 37 powered and 10 unpowered sites, with camp kitchen and barbeque, flushing toilets and hot showers, as well as a communal firepit.

The Roadhouse makes great coffee and home-made takeaway food and you can also grab basic groceries and 24 hour fuel and gas bottle refills.

Located 190 km north of Broome on the Cape Leveque Road, take the time to experience the best of the peninsula with authentic aboriginal cultural tours, visit the Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm, the Ardyaloon Trochus Hatchery and spectacular swimming beaches.
