Beacon Caravan Park is WA site no 452, in CAMPS 9 and site 20 in CARAVAN PARKS 4. The caravan park has a amenities included for disabilities, BBQ and it is pet friendly.
When updating their listing last week, we always check rates. The told me about their deal they give back to the visitor, and the whole town benefits!
Book in to the Caravan Park for $26 you receive a $10 voucher to spend at the Co-op or the Beacon Country Club (where they tell me you also receive a free drink, and told the chef does great meals! – restaurant open most Thursdays and Saturday nights).
The photo lists which local businesses your voucher can be spent. What a friendly initiative for travellers.
Bencubbin Caravan Park is WA site no 445, in CAMPS 9 and site 21 in CARAVAN PARKS 4. They also have a camp kitchen, cabins, laundry, drive through sites and a dump point.
But the same attractive rates and policy applies! The $10 Voucher reward per night applies to all accommodation (except tent sites) at the Bencubbin Caravan Park, up to a maximum of 5 vouchers per tenant, can be redeemed at participating businesses in Beacon or Bencubbin.
Congratulations! I hope this brings many smiles to travellers and locals alike – I look forward to visiting the club!
From Vince Evans:
It’s the best little park we’ve come across in all our travels. It is clean, spacious, and very friendly. It is also very cheap at $26 per night with power – but, for that price your get vouchers from the booking centre that give you two free drinks at the Community Club in addition to $10 discount from a wide range of business’s in either Beacon or Burracoppin. We chose to have our $10 discount off the meal at the Community Club which was not only delicious but cheap anyway – cheaper still with the discount voucher.
In addition to that, the people in the booking centre, which is the general store, were very friendly and helpful – and the Community Club made all the caravan people feel very welcome. Several locals came to chat with us and it was such a friendly atmosphere all round.
Beacon itself is a nice place to centre yourself for a few days to enjoy the lovely sights and wildflowers available nearby during the flower season. It is so clean and well set out – it is quite obvious the townspeople take a real pride in their local centre. We loved it and will return for sure.
