If you want beachfront, close to shops and just over an hour drive from Brisbane – book a site at Kingscliff Beach Holiday Park. It has been re-listed on our Camps Australia Wide App, after being closed for an extended time for renovations.
Kingscliff has become a lot busier than the seaside village I grew up near. But it still retains a charm, especially the access to the beach and the flatter shallows of Cudgen Creek. This is a wonderful spot for families, even if it is just a day trip.
This holiday park has the Bowls Club on one side, and the Surf Club on the other – very convenient!
Use the outdoor BBQs, new amenities, wifi, dump point, mobile phone coverage, bike hire but please note no pets are allowed. The boardwalk takes you direct to the patrolled beach.
And check out their world class camp kitchen/TV room. We think it may qualify for: “Australia’s best camping kitchen” !
Note there is another park at the other end of the Kingscliff and also on the beach – called Kingscliff North, all a part of the Tweed Holiday Parks.
You’ll find it at 125 Marine Parade, Kingscliff on the northern NSW coast.
