Bring the family to these fun camping and caravanning finds
Just back from a wonderful few nights’ camping with friends over the school holidays, ahhh! They were with their entire family – 10 adults and 11 children! We both learnt to stand up paddle board (thanks Lillie!), kayaked, played board games, badminton, road bikes, bushwalked… a dream escape.
We share this unexpected gem surrounded by Queensland national park! Plus give you a wildlife park with Tassie devils, WA station stay with rock pools and red cliffs, a little seaside caravan park in SA with lots to offer and a free Victorian pub stay.
And what do they all have in common? Even though they are from all over the country, with almost every type of camp you can name, they are all super family friendly.
Each has offerings from petting animals to playgrounds that will wear out the kids and have the adults relaxing. As you can see, it is not just the families who’ll enjoy this newsletter…
One also has a brewery! (Does Heatley look like he’s camping? He really is. The pizzas were amazing, too!) And lucky you, we share a camp recipe – another kid friendly find. So here is some fodder for future holidays – why not retreat here whilst most Aussie kids are back in school?
