Camp by koalas and caves in Yanchep National Park, WA

How does a visit to a colony of koalas sound?

Our CAMPS Ambassadors Manda and Dan stopped into Yanchep National Park, Western Australia on their way to Perth.

They said, “We wandered the lovely grounds, walked along the lake, took a stroll on the Koala Boardwalk and enjoyed what was the warmest, sunniest and windless-iest day we had in weeks.”

“We chatted with some ducks, a couple of koalas, a kookaburra and another sneaky friend.”
Can you spot it below?”

“There’s so much you can do here such as bush walks, restaurants, caves, chocolate cafe, so, so much, and there is even a campground area if you wish.”

In fact, check out Nature Play for nine trails to explore the lake, woodlands and cave areas. The trails range from accessible right through to difficult hikes. Note: Crystal Cave is closed for maintenance until further notice, however there are others to explore.

You can climb the high ropes and a zipline. Alternatively, wind down at Yanchep Inn.

Whadjuk and Yuat people are recognised as the traditional owners of Yanchep National Park. Cultural tours from Wangi Mia are regularly held here, with demonstrations of tools and instruments.
