It’s time to give you a brief mention of the road between Willow Tree and Merriwa in NSW which is expected to be fully sealed sometime during this coming September. This particular road is some 82km in length, and once completed will provide grey nomads with some great alternatives in terms of (currently) ‘road less travelled’. To our dismay, we found the RV parking area FULL of cars, one motor home, no caravans. RVs had found some longer areas beside the river. Meanwhile, there were plenty of spaces in the regular carpark, closest the centre.

After an overhaul two years in the making, Queens Grove Caravan Village is a great find only 12 km from Perth. With very reasonable rates, the park is now host to multiple paved powered sites, and brand new amenities which are spotlessly clean.
