Nev and Alicia Cooper and their dog often stay at the Foreshore Caravan Park at Nambucca Heads, on the northern NSW coast. Please note in your CARAVAN PARKS 5 books NSW site 379, that the park IS pet friendly, there is a BBQ, but not a camp kitchen, and add in WiFi, dump point and drive through sites.
Just south of Coffs Harbour, the Nambucca coastline and river is a beautiful part of the world.
Nev told us, “To give this park a plug, it is a small basic park close to shops with friendly owners, is close to the golf course (walking distance) has its own boat ramp (good for fishermen) is right on the estuary and has a safe sandy beach swimming area for children.”
He said, “It does not have a pool or playground, thus suitable for most grey nomads.”
“Best features for me, is the short walk to the Golf Club, fishing and the boardwalk along the waterfront out to the end of the Estuary wall. Shops are in walking distance and the RSL and Bowls Club are good for meals. All very relaxing.”
It sounds it, Nev! Thanks for your update and your images – please keep them coming everyone.
And here’s some more ideas for things to do in Nambucca Heads and Macksville.
