Like other towns ravaged by bushfires, Mallacoota in Victoria has done it tough. The fires in East Gippsland were followed by a COVID lockdown – a double blow for business in this tourism town.
Michelle Thorn visited Mallacoota Foreshore Holiday Park, and said, “Mallacoota is one of those places where there is so much to do and see that five days wasn’t nearly enough time. The park itself is amazing, clean and tidy facilities, sites across from the water where you can moor your boat are super handy and the whole park has amazing views and water access (safe for families). Pets are welcome and in cooler months fires are permitted.
“It was sad driving around and exploring the area, at first. But it was also nice to see the town rebuilding and regeneration of the bush after the fires. We love Mallacoota and will definitely be back.”
Mallacoota Foreshore Holiday Park is Victorian site 218 in your Caravan Parks 5 book, one of four caravan parks in this town.
