Stay 4 Weeks, Pay for 3 in Blackall, QLD – Plus an Artesian Spa You Won’t Want to Leave

Blackall Caravan Park in central west Queensland is offering “stay for 4 weeks, pay for 3”. How good is that? They also cover the cost of one season pass for the Aquatic Centre.

Now that is an enticement because the aquatic centre in Blackall has an artesian spa, naturally heated to 36-40 degrees!

Sam and Jordan moved to Blackall mid-2024 and took ownership of the Blackall Caravan Park. Originally from Bathurst, New South Wales, they’d been working in Brisbane and wanted to get out of the city and corporate life. Sam explained, “We didn’t think that we’d be this far west; however, we were only here for ten minutes and it felt right. We love Blackall.”

With the increase in fuel prices, Sam is very grateful to every traveller out their way. The awesome offer will hopefully entice more people to stay.

She said: “Lots of people have asked ‘What are you going to do in Blackall for four weeks?’ I’m telling you, there’s a lot!”.

New Off-Leash Dog Park

The town has an off-leash dog park opening soon, Bark Park. Sam says. “This is amazing, everybody asks if there’s somewhere they can run their dogs, so it’s really good.”

Beauty indulgences

Blackall has you covered, there, too. Said Sam, “We’ve also got Jewelz and Pinky Promise for pampering, plus The Look by Britney and Sol Hair and Beauty who can make you feel a million bucks.”

Food & Drink

“For the foodies, we’ve got the most stunning cafes, The Lodge on Hawthorn and House and Garden. Sam recommends the Woolshed Baa and Grill for a nice dinner, the Barcoo Hotel and the best takeaway is at the Big Red.

More

I love the Blackall signs, there’s even one in the library! People have also recommended visiting the graves of Jackie Howe and pioneer, Granny Harlow.

Sam also mentions that there’s a council-run camp, and people ask if it bothers them. “Not at all,” said Sam. “The most important thing is that more people visit town, it’s good for everybody. If we didn’t have the budget campsite, then some travellers would just move on to the next town that offers RV-friendly camping.”

Sam and Jordan travelled extensively before taking on the caravan park, they understand travellers want a variety of camping options.

And because they know the industry, they must be doing things right, as they’re receiving plenty of fantastic reviews in the Camps App. Like: “amazing sites, awesome management, and even better happy hour. During peak season, they have entertainment every night and the option to purchase dinner on selected nights if you want to relax.” Another traveller said that it’s an impressive park: quiet, rustic, clean and spacious amenities, a fire lit each afternoon, and fantastic new owners. The town has much to offer.”

Entertainment and meals at the Blackall Caravan Park

All in all, Sam and Jordan invite you! “There is a lot to do in Blackall. You’ll be plenty busy. Give us a call and book in for your four weeks. Let us know if you’ve got any questions, and I cannot wait to see you all.”
