Lake Lascelles, Victoria is a free camp with facilities plus

This lake is fed by the clean water from the Grampians Wimmera Mallee pipeline. Pull up and enjoy a beverage lakeside as the sun goes down.

A known location for water sports and fishing, this top spot is on the edge of the Lake Lascelles in Hopetoun, developed and beautified over the last few years.

Facilities are numerous: toilets, shower, drinking water, picnic table, fireplace, BBQ, mobile phone coverage and a boat ramp. There’s also shade and views! Suitable for big rigs and pets are allowed. Powered sites are also available for a fee.

It is 24 hours only – you can also explore the famous Silo Art Trail from here.

Popular with motorboats and jet skis, and weekends are a testament to this.

Find this rest area at Hopetoun, the eastern end of Austin Street, turn north and follow the track around lake to the Eastern Foreshore. There is 1.5 km of dirt road.
