Here’s a shout out to some scrumptious eateries at Coolum, Queensland. I was lucky to enjoy a girl’s getaway for a friend’s 50th. Needless to say, we weren’t cooking! So I can give you the rundown on where we ate in Coolum.
My Place – thank you for your tapas, cocktails and friendly service. Everyone raved about the garlic prawn hotpot and the linguini marinara. I loved the koftas, garlicky edamame beans and garlic pizza. I tried the passion fruit and Coolum Love cocktails – they were delightful, too!
Bombay Bliss brought on the curries and naan. Yum. In our hometown – there are no Asian eateries, so we always make a beeline for something more exotic when on holiday. A BYO restaurant is always great for the budget, too!
Canteen Kitchen + Bar Coolum delivered a really delicious Classic Canteen Muffin – bacon and egg on an english muffin with apple cider hollandaise. It was like a mini eggs Benedict. My friends enjoyed their breakfast croissants. I’d go back for lunch – the menu looks delish!
Stella Rossa is directly opposite the Coolum Surf Club. had a scrummy watermelon smoothie – with strawberry, apple and mint. Very refreshing. All the girls enjoyed their breakfast. (We’d never seen a fried chicken waffle before. Intriguing!)
Each establishment went out of their way to cater for one of our crowd with a food intolerance. We definitely booked ahead for dinners.
Next time we’ll go back to the Coolum Surf Club – we know how important these clubs are keeping our beaches safe with volunteer lifesavers!
All of these eateries had beach views and were easy walking distance from Coolum Beach Holiday Park. Check out it and other Sunshine Coast caravan parks in Caravan Parks 5 guide . You’ll find them and more Sunshine Coast campgrounds in the Camps Australia Wide App.
