Absolute gems, Jed and Tyla are the friendly voices you’ll hear when you call our office. We first met Tyla when she was working in reception at our doctor’s surgery. Back when they were a family of four, they kindly agreed to help us with a photo shoot and TV ad for another business. The team at CAMPS send our sad farewell to Kym Leech, who passed away this month. He and his partner, Lyn Hutton, formed the ‘No Boundaries’ team. They had the enviable job of visiting and photographing campsites all over Australia – and helped us keep the book and app updated. Sheng with his Camps 9 Based on the Sunshine Coast, Sheng has worked in the field extensively, as a CAMPS auditor. He has just returned from a trip up to Normanton, via Roma, Mitchell, Blackall, Barcaldine, Cloncurry. He returned back down the Queensland coast, updating campground information and images, and reporting on new sites along the way. Later this year, he’s back on the road, planning some fishing and research on the the way to Coober Pedy – via Birdsville and William Creek.
