How exciting! School holidays are here and we are escaping south! Covid fingers crossed.
Heatley and I had our first vaccine. It was astrazeneca, only to find out that day they lifted the age to 60! As the situation can change daily, we’ll be keeping a close eye on travel restrictions, but are pleased we are driving/towing and don’t need to worry about airports and city centres.
It has been a hard slog with lots of jobs to cross off the list for CAMPS before we left – so many exciting things in store for you all! Although we are working/auditing sites along the way, I am so looking forward to those western sunsets, fireside chats, walks, cards and experiencing other towns and roads.
So please – follow our travels on our socials, and Facebook group I Love Camping Australia Wide. And share your adventures and photos, too!
Today’s newsletter travels from a budget historic SA homestead, a free camp in the Kimberley, WA, a sought after camp area in VIC and a valuable list of things to see and do on your QLD roadtrip:Â Goondiwindi to Cloncurry to Townsville! Enjoy the read and hope to see you on the road.
