Camp at Patchewollock Hotel, Victoria

Established after the First World War, Patchewollock is a small town in North-West Victoria with a population of less than 200. Located 41 km SW of Ouyen or 49 km N of Hopetoun, “Patche” is home to an amazing silo art piece by Brisbane-based street artist Fintan Magee, sometimes referred to as the ‘Australia’s Banksy’.

The giant mural depicts local sheep and grain farmer, Nick ‘Noodle’ Hulland, chosen for his ‘classic farmer looks’ and his strong connection to the farming community.

Patchewollock Caravan Park (formerly Patche Sunset Retreat) has closed! However you can still camp there, it is now called Patchewollock Hotel in the Camps Australia Wide App.

With competitive pricing ($10 per site), tidy grounds and clean facilities, the pet friendly camp is a great choice for your travels through regional Victoria.

Check out the amazing silo art, head to the pub opposite the silos for a great meal and soak in the relaxing country atmosphere of this small but friendly town!

Find this site in the Camps Australia Wide App, or the Camps 11 guide as Patche Sunset Retreat (Site 471 in VIC) and your CAMPS Pendium as Patchewollock Caravan Park.
