Adelaide’s long awaited and newest caravan park has opened!  The Adelaide Showground Caravan Park is sleek and super modern, and only minutes from the CBD.  The park is located at 38 Leader Street, just off Goodwood Road.  Sites are around 10m x 10m with power and plumbing to each site.

There’s FREE  high speed Wi-Fi, drive through sites and you may bring up to two of your furry friends.

While it is at the higher end of the fee scale at $55 it has some amazing positives.  You book online and receive a pin code so there’s no need to check in or out.  You arrive, enter your pin and the boom gates will open, turn right through the gate and head east and follow the signage to your allocated site.

The park features the latest in modern amenities, laundry, camp kitchen, accessible bathrooms and showers.  You have direct access to Goodwood Road via a secure pedestrian gate and there’s 24 hour security so your vehicles are safe, while you’re exploring all that Adelaide has to offer.

Goodwood Road has shopping and dining with an eclectic mix of cafes, restaurants, and services.  You can visit the Show Museum, Goodwood Road History Trail, the Art Trail, Walking tours, the Capri Theatre, Adelaide Entertainment Centre, the Festival Centre, all without needing to move your vehicle.

Explore Adelaide’s famous beaches and world class wine regions.  You’ve got trains, trams and buses on your doorstep once you set up camp (handy if you’re attending the AFL at Adelaide Oval).

There’s also cycling, walking paths, supermarkets, chemists and petrol stations, even a vet in case your travelling pooch needs a check up.  You’ll find the dump point at the southern end of the carpark before you leave.

Whether you’re staying for a night, or a week, their powered sites provide ample space, and generous green areas to enjoy, as well as the fantastic proximity to amenities and attractions.   You’ll need to use weights instead of tent pegs and they provide you with a phone number for their staff in case you need any help during your stay.
