In the little town of Mundoora located on a street between two councils sits the Mundoora Museum Caravan and Camping Park. You can stay by donation and the park accommodates, tents, trailers, caravans or motorhomes.
Surrounded by shady gums, it is a lovely quiet spot to spend the night or a few days. It is home to displays of heritage farm equipment, with museum shed as well as picnic and bbq facilities.
There is a street library book swap and the Community Club has fish and chips on Friday nights and meals on Saturday nights.
Facilities
The camp facilities were recently upgraded and include toilets with disabled access, a new electric bbq, dump point, shade and picnic tables, lights and drinking water.
So do please use the donation box to help them with upkeep.
On the eastern side of the street is Pirie Council and on the western side it is Burunga West Council, so its address is Mundoora Museum Caravan & Camping Park, East Terrace or Main Street, whichever you prefer.
As it is small (with a population of only 26 lovely locals) you won’t have any trouble finding it!
