Yorketown Caravan Park is a hidden gem

Yorketown Caravan Park is SA site 348 in Camps 10 or SA215 in Caravan Parks 5, or find it on the Camps Australia Wide App. Previously called Yorketown Community Caravan Park – the managers gave us an update on the park and why the area is so popular.

Located in the heart of town, it has lawned or hard surface sites and two bedroom ensuite cabins offer very comfortable and affordable accommodation.

The park can cater to the needs of even the most discerning traveller. Offering beautiful peaceful garden surrounds, BBQ Facilities, clean amenities and a short walking distance to the town centre, they guarantee their park will have you coming back again for more and more!

There’s a pet friendly cabin available and enough parking for car and boat. Expect spacious big rig sites, sheltered BBQ area / camp kitchen, fully equipped laundry and it is tent friendly.

The Yorketown Caravan Park have recently installed a brand new dump point just on the perimeter of the park which can be accessed by all travellers free of charge!

If you are a keen fisher person, then Yorketown is the perfect place to base yourself. Being situated right in the middle of the Southern Yorke Peninsula, depending on which way the wind is blowing, you are only 10 minutes away from each coast!

The township is surrounded by around 200 spectacular salt lakes. The red, pink and white hues of the crystal formations are a photographers dream!

Yorketown’s Old Courthouse contains over 1,000 photographs depicting the early pioneer days and there is also an interesting and informative town walk.
