Likewise with Frenchmans South that has 10 unpowered sites, both at $5 per night – no facilities but will provide you with some stunning views and rocky cliffs. Further south at Kellidie Bay is Seal Corner also $5 per night.

Hi everyone, we hope you Mums were spoiled terribly. It’s an exciting week for those of us that have been housebound, with changes daily in restrictions depending where you live. Campers in some states are out there living the dream already, within limitations of the COVID-19 regulations.  RV travellers will be pleased with the three-step roadmap – as local and regional travel is planned initially, opening up to eventual interstate travel.  As I write, from May 15 in Queensland we can look forward to dining out, further travel to 150km and in Outback Queensland up to 500km. Mikkira Station and southernmost tip of the Eyre Peninsula, South Australia

As we navigated around The Eyre Peninsula a few years back, we stayed at Coffin Bay and Port Lincoln – next time we’ll linger longer. According to local, Helen Helen de la Perrelle from Mikkira Station – the area is a wildlife haven, with beaches and food to die for.  The little-known Mikkira Station Koala Country (SA site 557 in Camps 10) is 25 km south west of Port Lincoln, in the Southernmost tip of Eyre Peninsula in South Australia.
