There’s a brand new Pub Stay nestled in the heart of Western Australia’s Wheatbelt at the Grande Olde Dumbleyung Inn.
Its historic rooms will remind you of bygone days with expansive views from wide balconies.
Located around 230 km south West of Perth, the Inn has received approval from the shire for RV (any kind of campers welcome) camping behind the pub. They offer delicious pub meals, lunch and dinner 7 days a week.
The area is filled with history and is the home of the famous Lake Dumbleyung where Donald Campbell broke the world speed record on New Years Eve 1964.
There’s a small exhibition about that great day, as well as bars and beer garden and shade trees.
Lake Dumbleyung is only 10 km away where you can enjoy swimming, boating, water skiing and jet skiing. It is the largest salt water lake in WA.
You will find them 200 km east of Bunbury (Margaret River region) and 450km west of Esperance. They even offer toilet and shower access 24 hours and lots of country hospitality.
There is a local swimming pool close by, local store and a roadhouse with fuel
