I visited Coolum last week and checked out the only Coolum caravan park – and it’s a beautiful one in a brilliant location.
With at least 3 beach entrances, the surf and sand are right on your doorstep!
There’s a park and playground on either side – outside the park. A bottle-o, supermarket, shops and eateries are over the road- plus the Coolum Surf Club next door.
Bring your bike as you can cycle or walk both north and south on the coast path. Plus you can climb Mt Coolum.
When we stayed, the kids loved having the shops so close – and the beach with such easy access. Amenities were spread out across the park which made it easier for younger families.
It is not suitable for big rigs, but it is pet friendly.
