If you’re travelling Tassie our newest listing is a great little find! Owners, Beck and Scally welcome everyone and all vehicles from tents and caravans to big rigs and well behaved pets! The campground is located on the same site as Freycinet Paintball (so you can have some fun while you’re there). The campground offers large grassy sites, there’s plenty of room to camp in the field or under shady wattles beyond the main campsite with views of Moulting Lagoon. You can enjoy the licensed bar opened in the evenings with TV, BBQ and firepit to share some stories

Free camp: The Reef Reserve, Lake Oberon, New South Wales

This pretty spot is situated around 3.5 kilometres from the centre of Oberon, New South Wales. It’s quickly becoming a fisherman’s paradise as it is well stocked with trout and both fly fishing and spinning for trout are permitted all year round. The unpowered campground provides beautiful views of Lake Oberon and you can stay for up to 72 hours. Treed with native Eucalypt and grassland, you can choose to camp amongst the shade trees or near the lake and toilets. Sites are well spaced for privacy and dogs are welcome on lead. There are 3935 pet friendly sites in the CAMPS 10 book, and 1830 pet friendly caravan parks in Caravan Parks 5 book. Whether a park is pet friendly or not is something many travellers want to know. Some want to avoid pets and seek parks without them and other can’t do without their beloved animals, and book accordingly. We don’t want you to be disappointed – so please read page 9 of CARAVAN PARKS 4, it reads: “It is highly recommended that you contact the park prior to deciding to use the park, as some parks limit the animal size
