FREE CAMP around Australia…over the last few days we’ve slaved away checking campsites, sitting beside campfires and experiencing outback WA!
We are pleased to say we have lots more free camps that have made the grade to join our free App.
Here’s one free camp on the Great Central Road: Lake Throssell. Whilst my sister cooked up ‘spag bol’, Western Australia cooked us up a glorious outback sunset.
For now, enjoy this selection of camping whilst we are in the red dirt of the Pilbara.

What is cool about this free camp, is that the Toapin Weir was created by a landowner, and so innovative it was “unequalled in the Commonwealth”. And, the water is still useable today…
Dumaresq Dam Recreation Area was previously a day use area. But thanks to a redevelopment project by the Armidale Regional Council it will now be a free camping area!
