Spring is time for camping

We really had spring sprung on us this year. In one day we travelled from Canberra, ACT to Whyrallah, near Lismore, NSW – and then the next we were in sunny QLD, back to Rainbow Beach.

After last week in Perisher when it was snowing, we arrived back to sunny beach weather.  What a difference in climate! We spoke to a few skiing campers, who said they were cosy in their van and caravan parks close to the mountain. One couple had been camped out all winter!

We also saw how dry some of our countryside is! Please let it rain for those farmers, and soon.

To top that off – a magpie was relentless in his swooping me this afternoon. SO yes it really is spring – and we feature a free camp with a pool in Tassie, a holiday park in NSW, and more idyllic locations in both states.

Also of note is the release of our CAMPS AUSTRALIA WIDE survey, where you can really help us – please take the time to let us know your opinion, we really do value it.

Our snow trip also included more site visits around the ridges – particularly Jindabyne and Cooma (not all of us were skiing and snowboarding).

We hope all the dads out there enjoyed their special day, had a great message on Instagram this morning: Presented the hubby on Father’s Day (while camping😉) with the exciting upgrade to Camps 10 & Caravan Parks 5. An Excellent Gift! 🙏🏼
